In 1985 when I was Editorial Director of Weird Tales magazine, I selected one of her stories from the slush pile to be published in the third issue of Volume 49. Alas, it was not to be; only two issues were ever published.
Several years later, after moving to the Bay Area, I met her in person, and got to joke with her about buying her story in order to not publish it or pay her. It was a good story, and I hope she got it published elsewhere.

Here's a story about Leigh Ann I'd like to share.
In 1985 when I was Editorial Director of Weird Tales magazine,
I selected one of her stories from the slush pile to be published
in the third issue of Volume 49. Alas, it was not to be; only
two issues were ever published.
Several years later, after moving to the Bay Area, I met her in
person, and got to joke with her about buying her story in
order to not publish it or pay her. It was a good story, and I
hope she got it published elsewhere.
