Some quick notes from the Clinton/Rice campaign
Just a quick update today, folks, both Condi and Hillary have a really full schedule and I have to get back to some logistics for their appearance in Waco.
The new slogan, Margaret Thatcher was a wimp! has been polling really well, it looks like we may be able to pick up Arkansas because of it.
Our proposal to resolve the Taiwan question by taking a 99-year lease on the island is getting some enthusiastic coverage in Shonduang province and in Taipei itself. We could get some real traction on one of the worst debacles in the UN soon!
Still no joy on the Puerto Rico front. Someone finally pointed out the candidates that if we invaded PR to liberate the island, we'd be attacking our own troops. We'd like to offer to drop the sanctions if Cuba will take it off our hands, but we haven't heard anything good from the embassy about that. A staffer down on Lexington told me that Castro croaked Que les piensan que nos estamos, locos y tontos? I don't think that he should be asking for a taco if he's so sick that he can't get out of bed. Anyway, we'll figure out something to propose, I just don't know what yet.
Whups, time to go! There's some breaking news about Ariel Sharon's mistress being involved with a Hamas lieutenant since 1980, and our mid-east team has to get cracking.
