xthreadIn news from the BBC this week, the new Dr Who has begun broadcasting. Yay!
The response has been sufficiently good that they've gone ahead and commissioned a second season. Also yay!
However, the actor playing the Ninth Doctor has decided to quit the show at either the end or the middle of the second season, so they're shopping to find a Tenth Doctor. Um, what?!

It is sad to hear about the new doctor, I would kill to have that role, I cannot imagine not "wanting to be typecast" as The Doctor! Sigh.
