xthreadCanadian scientists have cured Diabetes (Type I and II) in mice. This 1) is intensely cool; 2) is extremely likely to lead to new therapies and possibly a cure for Diabete in humans; 3) singificantly changes our understanding of how Type I and Type II are related to each other; 4) significantly questions our assumptions about the nervous and immune systems in auto-immune diseases, such as MS.
