It's a bit out of date, especially housing prices. :) And I'm curious how they calculate median age. I expect they include children, because I'm the median age for my neighborhood, and there are a lot of gray hairs around here.

It's census data, so the core data set is collected once a decade.

Are you sure you're not thinking 'arithmetic mean' when they are writing 'median'?

When there is an even number of numbers, the median is the mean of the two middle numbers. Thus, the median of the numbers 2, 4, 7, 12 is (4+7)/2 = 5.5. At least that's what I recall.

not really. cuz, see, i live in a tiny little town, and i actually know most of my neighbors. bizzare concept anymore.
